Happy Halloween! I come bearing book-related treats—that is, artwork of CALLED TO THE DEEP’s siren main character at her scariest. There’s teeth, there’s claws, and…because my Siren Sisters Alex and Amanda called for blood, there’s a little bit of that, too. I’ve also included two short snippets from this creepy paranormal romance down in the deep depths of this post. So stick around.
If anyone needs a recap, here’s a link to the full-length book summary.
Without further ado, meet our scary siren, Lorelei Roth, courtesy of my artist husband:

And now for the promised snippets. First, a little romance…
“Gleaming sea green eyes Killian knew intimately locked on him in a predatory stare, a wicked smile playing on her lips. And she was beautiful. The most beautiful and terrifying he’d ever seen her. Rooted in place, Killian watched the sultry sway of Lorelei’s hips as she sauntered to him, his alluring sea goddess. His Aphrodite.”

And the scene Kyle drew inspiration from…
“Hearing small splashes nearby, Lorelei opened her eyes. A woman kicked her feet through the water. As a shark smells blood, Lorelei smelled human flesh, and her predatory instincts kicked into overdrive. Before human inhibition could retake control, she struck out at whiplash speed and grabbed the ankles of her prey.”

I hope you enjoyed these sneak peaks!
In my next update, I will announce the title of another book I’ve written, a villain fantasy romance. Stay tuned for more details and for moodboards.
But in the meantime, have a spook-ta-cular day!
xoxo
