Called to the Deep is One Year Old!

Where has the time gone? It’s wild to think Called to the Deep has been out in the world for a whole year. And in that time, this little vicious mermaid book has wriggled its way into several indie bookstores, libraries, podcast episodes, and book clubs, and I’m so grateful for the love and support its gotten from readers like you.

I’m currently writing the last 25% of book 3, Ensnaring the Siren, which is kind of surreal. This time last year, it wasn’t even a thought. I really hadn’t intended this series to go beyond two books, but I guess Haven Cove isn’t done with me yet, and I hope you’ll stick around to see what happens next.

To kickoff Called to the Deep‘s book birthday celebration, I ran a Goodreads Giveaway for US readers last month. This month’s giveaway starts on its actual book birthday – September 20 – and runs through September 27 on Instagram for international readers (non-US residents).
